The fourth edition of the AMSI maths textbooks for schools series, ICE-EM Mathematics, will be published with Cambridge University Press & Assessment in August 2026.

Covering Years 5–10, the series has been created to provide a robust development of mathematical ideas to support the transition from primary to secondary school. The series, which aims to develop a clear understanding of mathematical ideas and concepts, is suited to students of varying abilities, needs and levels.

All textbooks align with the latest requirements of the most recent Australian curriculum standards to ensure a smooth implementation of Australian Mathematics Curriculum V9.0 and Victorian Mathematics Curriculum 2.0.

This new edition is unique for the depth of student resource content which explores how numeracy skills are influenced by culture and context, particularly First Nations cultures.

Other innovations across the series include video explanations, written solutions, and integration with AMSI Calculate and AMSI Careers online resources.
